But there is so much more to do.
At MYTIME Young Carers, we see the lives of extraordinary young people every day. They are carrying the huge responsibility of caring for loved ones, balancing school, their first jobs, seeking friendship and understanding – and they are just as full of hopes and dreams as any other child. The difference is that the world does not reward these young people for their taking on this responsibility. Right now, young carers across the country are still left to fend entirely for themselves.
This is why our work is vital. But it is simply impossible without your support.

You could cover 1 young carer to take part in MYTIME's youth group for 1 month, helping them discover that they are not alone

You could ensure 1 school can receive 2 weeks of MYTIME's guidance & support in improving their provisions for young carers through the Level Up Programme

Emberly was five when her mother suffered a debilitating head injury and stroke.
Now, Emberly is ten. She’s a young carer – helping around the house every day with cooking, cleaning, pet care and assisting her mum with normal activities as well as taking medication.
After getting involved with MYTIME, Emberly now knows she isn’t alone. She has loved making memories with other young carers, and her school now works closely with us to ensure that she and her peers have support. Now, Emberly even takes the reins herself and has taken part in fantastic fundraisers for our charity, so other young carers can benefit, too.
