HOW WE SUPPORT YOUNG CARERS

At MYTIME, we recognise that as a young carer, you will have developed an amazing set of skills that will help you throughout your lifetime

We are simply here to make sure that you get the support and the opportunities that all children need and deserve, and that will allow you to thrive and lead happy, healthy lives.

We provide:

  • Opportunities to unwind, experience new things and meet other young carers on our activity days

  • An online youth group where you can come together with other young carers

  • Support to your school so that they can better support you

  • An Employability Programme to help you find your way into further education, training or work

Including our exciting activity days, our beloved residential retreats, access to our Zoom Youth Group and so much more, our Making Memories Programme is designed to connect you with other young carers, and give you a well-deserved break.

Level Up 5

OUR LEVEL UP 
PROGRAMME 

Level Up is our award-winning programme that partners with schools.

We help teachers and students understand what life is like for young carers, and train staff to recognise and properly support you and other young carers so you can get the most out of your education. 

OUR EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAMME 

We designed the Employability Programme to support young adult carers as they prepare to enter working life.

During the course, you have access to help with CVs, interviews, access to TEMPO, our online support group, and even days out in the workplace where you can gain fantastic experience.
